But note Sony's listing: from January 2028, newly released PlayStation games will be sold in digital format only. Discs of games released before then will keep working, so a disc drive still pays off with the huge library of existing games. PS5 prices have risen with memory costs, and owners don't expect big drops; a bank card offer is the realistic way to save.
