A smaller group reports faster drain in the first weeks, which usually settles once the phone finishes indexing. It's heavy, and the new aluminium design divides opinion. With the iPhone 18 Pro Max now out, the 17 Pro Max makes most sense when a bank card offer brings it well below the newer model.
